Parish priest: P. Mariusz Tomasz Banaszczyk
The parish or "lower" church was built in 1680 on the site of an older church which burnt down in 1661. Shortly afterwards, however, it was plundered and burnt down again. Instead, the branch church, dedicated to St. John the Baptist, served as the parish church for some time. In 1740, the side chapels of St. Barbara and St. John of Nepomuk were added to the repaired building. The church is a Baroque-oriented single-nave building with a rebuilt square tower. The tower is covered with an onion bay. The furnishings include high-quality rococo furnishings. A part of the wooden door with preserved locks and fittings also dates from the 18th century. The church is decorated with a hanging triptych of the Wallachian Madonna by Adolf Liebscher, moved from the chapel at Radhošt', and the Wallachian Nativity scene by Jan Knebel.
