The baroque church of Saint Valentine with a Renaissance tower stands on the site of the original wooden church from 1596, which was built by Dorota Bremlová and her son Valentin. On the main altar there is a silver-plated relief with a scene from the life of Saint Valentine, probably dating from around 1596, i.e. still from the original church. After the arrival of the Piarists in Příbor, the city dedicated the church to them. Between 1760 and 1766, it was rebuilt in its current form according to the plans of the rector of the Piarist college and local native Heliodor Knauer. Between 1768 and 1875, the church was connected to the opposite dormitory by a wooden corridor at the height of the first floor. The Piarist cemetery used to be located around the church. Between 1995 and 1996, a total reconstruction of this important church building took place. The ceremonial reopening, which was also a celebration of the 400th anniversary of the construction of the church, took place on October 20, 1996.
