Route: Nový Jičín, Žilinská Street (0 km - start) - Nový Jičín-Bludovice (2.8 km) - Hodslavice (1 km) - Životice u Nový Jičína (1.7 km) - Mořkov (1.2 km) - Hostašovice (3 km)

A flash flood practically destroyed the 120-year-old local railway line from Nový Jičín to Hostašovice. Instead of costly repairs, the line was cancelled and a cycle path was built in its place, which was inaugurated on 26 September 2014.

The cycle path runs from Nový Jičín under the Tonak complex on Žilinská Street to the train station in Hostašovice. The total length of the cycle path is 9.7 km. The cycle path is extended from the railway station in Hostašovice by a tourist cycle sign to the Zrzávka outlet. It is also possible to turn off the cycle path in Bludovice after the former railway bridge to the route towards the water reservoir Čerťák. The surface of the cycle path is suitable not only for cycling trips, but also for inliners. In the winter months, you can also use the cycle path for cross-country skiing.

There are a total of five covered rest areas with tables, benches and bike racks along the route. An information panel with a map describes the sights of the village in which the rest area is located.
