Tourist information center Of Nový Jičín

Treat yourself to a wonderful view on one of the most visited peaks of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy! The original wooden construction follows the typical Wallachian architecture. The wooden observation tower measures 25.9 meters and has two viewing platforms. The lookout tower stands on the spot where the lookout tower originally stood between 1934 and 1967, the new one was ceremonially opened here in 2013. There are several hiking trails from Bordovice, Veřovice, Frenštát pod Radhoštěm or Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. From here you can see the Beskydy Mountains, the Oder Hills, the Moravian Gate, Ostrava and Štramberk with the Trumpet Tower and the nearby Kotouč Hill with a limestone quarry. In good weather, you can see as far as Mala and Velka Fatra, Roháč and Jeseníky.
